The Ministries of Trade and Finance have signed 34 settlement arrangements with companies that will see their overdue export rebates settled over the next five years. This will come in exchange for new investments’ injection and capex spending by exporters. The list of 34 exporters include Dice Sports & Casual Wear (DSCW) and Egyptian Spinning & Weaving which is 91% owned by Arab Cotton Ginning Co. (ACGC). (Enterprise, Official statement) According to DSCW’s latest financials, the overdue export rebates amounted to EGP146.7mn at the end of 30 September 2019.
